Limited Edition: VILLA HUESGEN Pinot Noir 2023

Pinot Noir is probably one of the best-known and most important red wine grape varieties in Germany. In the 19th century, around 60% of the Moselle's vineyards were planted with red grape varieties, but the cultivation of Pinot Noir was banned for a long time. It has only been allowed to be cultivated again since 1985 and today produces exceptional wines. The cool climate zone and the slate terroir of the Moselle give the wine great tension and allow it to develop its full potential.

With the 2023 vintage, we are delighted to once again offer you a VILLA HUESGEN Pinot Noir. This dry, silky, aromatic and complex Pinot Noir made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grows on slate slopes. Carefully harvested by hand, de-stemmed and repeatedly selected for the highest quality. Spontaneous fermentation followed by 15 months of maturation in French oak barriques.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Pflege und Bewirtschaftung unserer Weinberge in Traben-Trarbach und Enkirch
• Durchführung von Rebschnitt, Laubarbeiten, Bodenpflege und Weinlese
• Unterstützung bei Pflanzungen und Erziehungsarbeiten
• Mitarbeit bei allgemeinen Hof- und Wartungsarbeiten

Ihr Profil:

• Interesse und Leidenschaft für Weinbau und Natur
• Idealerweise Erfahrung im Weinbau oder in der Landwirtschaft (Einarbeitung möglich)
• Körperliche Belastbarkeit und Freude an der Arbeit im Freien
• Selbstständige, zuverlässige und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise
• Führerschein Klasse B (Traktorführerschein von Vorteil)

VILLA HUESGEN is now member of FAIR’N GREEN

In August 2019 Weingut Villa Huesgen has been rewarded with the certificate FAIR’N GREEN for its sustainable viniculture.

Fair And Green e.V., which was founded in 2013 as an association for higher standard of sustainability, supports its members to obtain a higher standard in conservation, environmental viticulture, higher biological diversity, protection of natural resources, fair wages, social engagement, preservation and improvement of the natural environment. FAIR’N GREEN sets minimum standards and supports constant improvements, from procurement to viniculture and wine making to the distribution.

VILLA HUESGEN, since 1735 a family owned winery on the Mosel River, accepts, together with FAIR’N GREEN, the responsibilities for nature and man in the production of its fine wines.
