News from the unique Grand Cru vineyard:
Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett dry old vines
Ürziger Würzgarten is one of the most famous and unique vineyards on the Moselle, located in Ürzig and geologically part of the Wittlich depression. The deep, stony, copper-red slate soil (Rotliegendes) of volcanic origin is characterized by its good water and heat storage capacity as well as good aeration. The site faces south to east-southeast with a slope inclination of up to 69%.
🍷This dry, spicy and elegant Riesling from vines over 60 years old was harvested by hand. Spontaneously fermented in the cellar and matured in wooden barrels. An exotically spicy wine of great depth.
